FREE COMMUNITY EDUCATION

CPR Education Should Be Available to Everyone

At Local Lifesaver CPR, I believe lifesaving education should never be out of reach. Unfortunately, many people never receive CPR training because of cost, scheduling, or lack of access. My goal is to help remove those barriers by offering free community education whenever possible.

When resources and scheduling allow, I partner with schools, nonprofits, churches, community organizations, and local businesses to provide free CPR, AED, and emergency preparedness classes for the community.

These educational events help participants build the knowledge and confidence to respond during an emergency, even if they don't need an official certification.

What You'll Learn:

Free community classes may include topics such as:

• Adult, child, and infant CPR awareness

• AED education and demonstration

• Choking emergencies

• Activating EMS and calling 911

• Recognizing common medical emergencies

• Emergency preparedness

• Basic first aid concepts

Topics and practice may vary depending on the organization and the length of the event.

Important Information

✔ These classes are completely free to participants.

✔ Free course requests will only be considered if the event if open to the public.

✔ These classes do not include American Heart Association certification or an AHA eCard.

✔ All information is based on current American Heart Association guidelines and real-world emergency response principles.

✔ Whenever possible, participants will receive hands-on practice using CPR manikins.

Why I Do This

Every additional person who knows CPR has the potential to save a life.

While certification is important for many jobs, lifesaving knowledge shouldn't be limited to those who can afford a class or need it for work. My hope is that by providing free community education whenever possible, more people will be prepared to help a family member, friend, neighbor, or stranger during an emergency.

Because when seconds matter, an informed bystander can make all the difference.
