Statistics:
436,000 Americans die of cardiac arrest each year.
73.4% of cardiac arrests occur inside the house.
Of the 436,000 cardiac arrests each year, only 40.2% happen near someone who knows CPR.
About 10,000 cardiac arrests occur in the workplace, but
only about 50% of people can locate an AED in the workplace.
(The number rises to 66% in the hospitality field.)
