Statistics:
436,000 Americans die of cardiac arrest each year.
73.4% of cardiac arrests occur inside the house.
Of the 436,000 cardiac arrests each year, only 40.2% happen near someone who knows CPR, and less than half of those patients receive care before EMS arrived.
About 10,000 cardiac arrests occur in the workplace, but
only about 50% of people can locate their AED.
(The number rises to 66% in the hospitality field.)

I am American Heart Association-and-American Red Cross-certified to teach Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR, AED, and First Aid; and I am Health & Safety Institute-certified to teach Wilderness First Aid. I have experience as a caregiver, EMT, and behavioral health professional. I believe everyone deserves access to lifesaving education, regardless of cost. By making CPR training more accessible, my goal is to reduce preventable deaths and build safer, stronger communities where people are ready to help in emergencies.
